The British Dairy Consortium was established in September 2006 with support from the International Agriculture & Technology Centre. We are a non profit co-operative organisation of leading British companies providing top quality products and services to the world wide dairy industry. Initial access to our services can be gained through this on-line advisory portal.
Our purpose The purpose of the consortium is to facilitate access to the expertise and advice of British based companies that are active in the dairy industry both in the UK and internationally. This enables BDC to promote the very best of British dairying technology, equipment, products, genetics and support both on a local and at an international level.

What we do The combined membership of the British Dairy Consortium provides industry expertise across a wide range of key technical areas. These are vital for the continued development of the modern and progressive dairy industry of today. The dairy industry in Britain has responded in many innovative ways to the need for effective and profitable milk production. The industry is amongst the most advanced and efficient in the world, with companies renowned for their practical, reliable and innovative solutions. Our Members are actively trading in Europe, North and South American countries, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Africa.
