Agrimin Ltd
Agrimin Ltd is a specialist UK manufacturer and distributor of sustained release mineral, trace element and vitamin boluses for ruminants. The Company has been marketing this patent protected range of nutritional supplements to farm supply companies and veterinary surgeons in the UK and through a network of distributors overseas since 1978.
New products have been developed with the help of Glasgow University Veterinary School and Agrimin have established themselves as leaders in their field gaining a reputation for technically advanced products backed by a high quality service.
Agrimin specialise in sustained release nutritional boluses for cattle and sheep. A bolus is similar to a large vitamin tablet and it is given to the animal orally. It then becomes lodged in the stomach of the animal (this technology only applies to ruminants) and starts to dissolve over an extended period (in some cases for up to 12 months) giving the animal a consistent supply of nutrients.
For dairy cattle, dry cows and youngstock this technology offers considerable advantages over the more traditional means of supplementing animals with certain nutrients. Boluses are labour-saving devices and are becoming valuable management tools for forward thinking dairy farmers in a number of markets.
Agrimin boluses deliver a range of nutrients such as trace elements, vitamins and minerals. We have developed products specifically for some export markets and are now exporting these products to over 20 countries including most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Zintec (agri) Limited
Zintec (agri) Limited was originally formed in 1986 by the late John Williams, his aim was to produce quality feed supplements making the most of Chelated trace elements for ruminants. Now 25 years later the company has grown into two divisions.
Zintec Feed Supplements: Manufacturers of mineral, trace element and vitamin feed supplements sold to merchants and also direct to livestock farmers throughout the UK and Ireland, Zintec has established a very strong brand within the ruminant sector for providing quality nutritional solutions to livestock problems. With various recognised brands like 3in1, Imuherb, Flystop, Zintec has built a reputation for developing specialist niche feed supplements for livestock. This business also contract manufacturers for various companies, manufacturing products as diverse as equine supplements, yeast products, silage inoculants, poultry treatments plus many more. Our manufacturing facility is UFAS assured and meets all current standards for quality and has the ability to manufacturer powders and molassed licks.
Zintec Feed Solutions: As well as distributing for various established international feed additive producers; this division has started developing its own feed additives and feed control products. The key to the success of this division is its “tool box” philosophy; we talk with feed mills, consultants and producers about their concerns and look in our “tool box” of products for nutritional solutions. This division covers ruminant, monagastric, equine and pets food markets.
Zintec (agri) Ltd. Sells and markets its products throughout the UK and Ireland and exports to parts of Europe and the Russian Federation. We are always looking for distributors to help develop and establish new markets.
