BDC logo Ayrshire Cattle Services (Ayr) Ltd
Cattle Services (Ayr) Ltd is the marketing arm of the Ayrshire Cattle Society. During the late 1800’s and early 1900’s many top quality animals left the UK to form Ayrshire populations and improve local breeds in many countries around the world.

At home the breed continues to progress and for the last thirty years the UK society, through its marketing arm Cattle Services and with co-operation of breeders, has operated a hugely successful young sire proving programme from which has emerged a succession of top quality sires including the globally renowned Triple Crown, Blackthorn and our rising star Tryst. Each sire continuing to enhance the breed at home and satisfying the growing crossbreed market and the rapidly expanding export demand.

Ayrshires are the intelligent choice for:
• Top economic performance
• High yields of component rich milk over many lactations
• Healthy milk – from superb udders
• Balance conformation
• Easy care and fewer veterinary costs
